The artistic and research programme „SPOTKANIE” [ENCOUNTER], run at the Pracownia Wschodnia Gallery in the first half of 2026, focuses on analysing and practically testing the notion of encounter in a social and artistic context. The project is carried out through a series of events comprising exhibitions, performative actions, open meetings and workshops, whose common element is direct contact, co-presence and the exchange of experience.

Activities of the Pracownia Wschodnia collective as part of the Muzeum Wspólne [Common Museum] series at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw "We will perform as best we can, turning the MSN auditorium into a multifunctional publishing organism: we will work on the riso, make screen prints, sew, produce a zine and talk about ourselves and our initiatives. We will introduce the activities of our studio and its departments: the Pracownia Wschodnia Gallery, the Sito Studio, Foto Pracownia Wschodnia and Oficyna Peryferie. We will also talk about other places which, like us, persist somewhere between art, community and matter."

The Spójnik [Conjunction] project – Creative Encounters in Praga-Północ – is a series of artistic, workshop and educational activities centred on plac Hallera and addressed to the community of the Praga-Północ district. The project brings together local artists and residents of the district, creating a space for integration, creative activity and social and cultural dialogue.

The Teren [Terrain] project is a year-long research and artistic programme of the Pracownia Wschodnia Gallery in which we explore the meaning of „terrain” as a space of creative, communal and experimental activity. The programme's slogan points to material and symbolic rootedness – a place where art can act independently, over the long term and in dialogue with the community.
