"The exhibition aims at an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon
of collecting and hoarding, examining these concepts
from close up. Through the work of three photographers,
Federico Caponi, Kasia Rysiak and Andrea Beggio, the projects
presented at FPW illustrate the various motivations of collectors,
from the personal, through the social, to those connected with family
heritage. They also shed light on the compulsive impulse
to hoard, revealing the hidden histories and stories inherent
in every object. The exhibition as a whole is an attempt to present
the multifaceted phenomenon of hoarding in the context
of contemporary culture."

Andrea Beggio
SOKÓŁ Mozaika [SOKÓŁ Mosaic], 2025. Darkroom print on RC paper.
The mosaic technique is meant to depict the dance between
stillness and motion. Starting from a static view
of a Sokół 500 motorcycle, its rigid form is torn apart,
dissolving in a stream of deconstructed lines and curves,
and gains motion as the eye scans it.
