"I open the drawer,
I leaf through the binder of negatives,
I read my notes
I leaf through the binder of negatives,
I read my notes
I look for signs of what is (unceasingly) closest to me
I connect, arrange, glue together
Projects from the past year, methodologies, stories, encounters and something that holds them all together, which is so hard to say directly
I invite you “inside”
Deep into the ambiguity and polyphony of the processes of finding and losing connections”
PHOTOAMORIA will be a three-hour, intimate event in which analogue photography becomes the starting point for a conversation about the nature of relationships
The Foto Gallery will be bathed in dimmed violet light, with a projection, a few works on the walls, and Paweł Dobrowolski playing live ambient music
At some point there will also be a „tour” of the darkroom and a performative tour of the drawer, offering participants an intimate encounter with the archive, process and matter of analogue photography.
