Mysteriosa is a tribute to Mystery, a personal attempt to express an all-embracing fascination and love for that which cannot be grasped by reason – the primordial force that unites destruction and creation. The one that persists in dance and in stillness, at the same time.
 
The exhibition presents works including analogue photography, sound, installation and 8 mm video.
 
The project was created as a diploma work within the course at the Akademia Fotografii and was funded by Fundacja Kolegium Sztuk Wizualnych.

As part of the “MysteriosA” exhibition, a dance performance and a participatory origami happening took place.

In the final gesture of the performance, the artist will take down from the wall the first of the 78 A3 sheets that make up the mural based on the risograph "ROZKOSZ/sama ze sobą (w blasku Słońca)” [DELIGHT/alone with herself (in the glow of the Sun)], and then invite the participants to fold them together into lotuses using the origami technique.
 
“SHE:Lazarus” is a celebration of survival, a symbolic journey through rebirth, inspired by butoh, the Japanese dance of darkness, and by somatic practices that use trembling and shaking of the body. Through the expression of pain and pleasure, it explores the experience of femininity.
