window exhibition

Until 11 January 2026, works by the artist elm_735 and the artist Paulina Mirowska can be seen in the windows of Galeria Pracownia Wschodnia. 

This year, the window exhibition references the annual programme TEREN [TERRAIN], which focused on redefining the concept of terrain/space in a social, artistic, and symbolic context. It encompassed exhibitions, workshops, performances, meetings, and discussion panels that preceded stages of research, experimentation, and spatial and social analysis.

TEREN was understood as the material and social grounding of artistic practice, emphasising the importance of stable, grassroots creative spaces as sites of freedom, dialogue, and long-term collaboration. The interdisciplinary character of Pracownia Wschodnia facilitated the combination of art, research, and education, as well as the building of lasting relationships with the local community.

The programme addressed both the physical space of artistic activities and reflection on contemporary social phenomena, such as corporeality, relationships with nature, environmental changes, and a sense of security. TEREN became a field for exploring boundaries — physical and mental — as well as methods of negotiating and transcending them in an artistic and social context.
