In this year's edition of the exhibition INTRO SITO 2.0, we present our graphic works, inspired by social issues important to us, searching for truth and beauty in the ordinary and everyday, visualising our needs and emotions.

The prints were created by us in spring 2022, in the shadow of the war in Ukraine and the accompanying anxieties. A longing for childhood and carelessness is visible in our works. We search for respite in creation and a synthesis of our own feelings. Our exhibition presents the multitude of possibilities offered by screen printing and digital techniques – the results of our activities are works on paper, fabric, using unusual materials such as glass, tissue paper, or glitter. Other forms of expression also appear, such as video or digital photography. Experimentation in the creative process helps us discover new methods of visual expression – both in technological and substantive areas.

Each of us follows an individual artistic path. Thanks to the classes, we gain experience and have the opportunity to search for our own language of expression.

2nd and 3rd year students from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw are taking part in the exhibition. We created the works during the last academic year, when we were in 1st and 2nd year.

Screen printing is also a great way to give new life to old clothes. As an accompanying event to the exhibition, on Saturday, 11 March, we are organising a workshop on printing graphics on T-shirts or bags brought by visitors. We encourage you to take part in the workshop!
