Galeria Pracownia Wschodnia is an exhibition space and an open venue for artistic and cultural initiatives. We organise thematic exhibitions combined with workshops or lectures by invited guests, performance shows, micro-plays, author meetings and concerts. Around these events we work both with artists and with people not directly connected with the world of culture, such as scientists and travellers.

Gallery opening hours

Wednesday–Friday 4–8 pm

Guidelines for working with Galeria Pracownia Wschodnia
##### Galeria Pracownia Wschodnia is part of the Pracownia Wschodnia Association, which as a **non-profit organisation is funded by membership fees and donations**.   We are not a commercial art gallery, we do not run for-profit activities, we will not "invest" in you and we will not organise an exhibition for you. What we do offer is collaboration: co-organising your exhibition in the space of Galeria Pracownia Wschodnia. Below you will find a few points that explain the terms on which this can happen. The gallery is run by an informal group of people connected with art in one way or another. We give our own time, commitment and money so that this place remains an interesting cultural proposition. For this reason **we are unable to co-organise exhibitions without a financial contribution from the invited artists**. As a non-profit association we do not engage in the activities usually associated with an art gallery. We do not represent artists and we do not broker the sale of works shown in the gallery. In most cases the GPW board chooses the themes of upcoming exhibitions itself and invites artists at its own discretion. This does not mean, however, that we are closed to new proposals. If you accept these general terms and still wish to propose a collaboration, please send us, using the form on our website: - a description of the proposed exhibition - links to your portfolio and CV If your proposal catches our interest, we will reply within 30 days.
